Rising again in the legal mayhem! - Entertainment - Television

Locking horns with someone isn't that troublesome if one is aware of the clutches of law as well as its frailties. What an individual should rather watch out for, is the fact that his own collar is not caught up in midst of loads of muck. Damages is a legal drama hovering around a gal, Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) and her dream of making it big in the legal arena. When it's about choosing a mentor, she goes for the shrewd Patty Hewes (Glenn Close) not realizing that this decision would change the very course of her life. There are many who have given their nod for the online trajectory, in pursuit of this enticing storyline.Keeping every shred of doubt aside, Ellen enters into the haven of Hewes & Associates thinking that her career graph would suddenly gain an unprecedented high. Damages episodes unfurl in the very first season, the persona of Patty Hewes and what her professional proposition is all about. The very first season trails the development taking place in the cas e of Arthur Frobisher, a man embroiled in a case similar to the instance of Enron. Damages traces the advances made by Ellen, who gets too much involved in the case, so much so that her bond with her fianc begins to wither away. Bristling through successive episodes of this engrossing plot tells one, how a fine line should be drawn between personal and professional life. While Frobisher pays for the actions committed by him, Ellen pays for poking her nose way too much into the case, by losing her fiance in fatal murderous attack. Watch Damages online and see the struggle of a girl, as she combats against the negative aura of culprit on one hand and the dominating presence of a nearly matriarchal figure on the other. The rosy picture and all those myths regarding Patty Hewes, shatters for sure in the second season. Damages attained a new crescendo in the second season with a scientist, Daniel Purcell trying to seek some sort of help from Patty. The sequence of episodes in this particular season was enchanting enough to hold on to your attention like anything. While the shoddy picture dangling around the scientist places him in the circle of doubt, huge tension crops in between Patty and Ellen. Can the relationship between a mentor and her protg deteriorate to such an extent? One is shocked to the core on realizing that it was Patty who had her hands caught up in the firing directed at Ellen. This bond between Patty and Ellen undergoes immense pressure in the third season once again, leaving the viewer in a fix. What one looks forward to is, whether the dup gets back on the same saddle once again burying the hatchet and starting it all on a fresh note?
